footballer Emmanuel Emenike converts to Islam

Nigerian footballer Emmanuel Emenike has converted to Islam. According to Turkish daily Fanatik, Emenike failed to join the squad up for breakfast on Saturday. When asked by coach Vitor Pereira’s why he didn’t show up for breakfast, Emenike replied “I’m fasting.” Pereira however replied: “You’re not a Muslim,” insisting that Emenike is a Christian. He still stood his ground saying “I became a Muslim, I am a Muslim,”
