Lamar Davenport, the man accused of fatally stabbing actress E’Dena Hines, has pleaded not guilty.
Davenport was accused of killing Morgan Freeman‘s step-granddaughter in August after he was seen stabbing the actress 15 times while screaming religious chants on an NYC street. Police believe the 30 year old was under the influence of cocaine.
Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. told reporters Davenport was charged with second-degree murder.
