We don’t have to be rich to give, it’s just the spirit of sharing’- Kafilat Ogbara

Easter 2017 has come and gone, but in the hearts of certain people in our society, it won’t be forgotten. Just as the

Easter season represents redemption to the Christian community, so did Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara, a selfless woman with good intentions and kindness redeem smiles on the faces of orphans, physically challenged persons and prisoners.

Even with ongoing recession that has bitten hard into the fabrics of the Nigerian Economy, this has not in any way deterred Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara from carrying out her selfless service to humanity.

Her visit to Modupe Cole Child care and treatment home Akoka home brought nothing but Joy to the hearts of orphans and physically challenged as she distributed gift items and celebrated the season with them in a fun and exciting atmosphere.

She also visited the Kirikiri medium prison where she brought smiles and helped 5 males and 5 female’s prisoners regain their freedom through paying for their fine. "In her word ‘There is the need to deliberately go out of our way to reach out to the needy. We don’t have to be rich to give, it’s just the spirit of sharing. Sharing our joy, love, clothes, shoes, children’s toys and even just our SMILE is enough charity’.
She further added that we should celebrate with those that really need the food and not only those with excess food at home.
Mrs. Kafilat Ogbara is the former Gubernatorial aspirant for Lagos state and a philanthropist that derives her satisfaction in bringing joy to the lives of others. See more photos below
