I Have Had 8 or 9 Miscarriages By My Husband”- Gabrielle Union reveal in her Tell- It All book

Sometimes, you just don't know what this celebrity is going through despite all the fabulous pictures posted on  Instagram. Who knew that Gabrielle Union‘s character on ‘Being Mary Jane’ actually mirrored her
real-life issues. Specifically the fertilization  part…

In her new book ‘We’re Going To Need More Wine‘,   a book of short stories abut her life; Union tells of her struggles with fertility

.“I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” Union, 44, writes in the book excerpted exclusively for PEOPLE magazine. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”

Gabby adds that she’s been undergoing IVF for three years which causes constant bloating and hormonal changes and struggles with questions from strangers and friends about when she’s having kids.“For so many women, and not just women in the spotlight, people feel very entitled to know, ‘Do you want kids?’” she says. “A lot of people, especially people that have fertility issues, just say ‘no’ because that’s a lot easier than being honest about whatever is actually going on. People mean so well, but they have no idea the harm or frustration it can cause. While frustrating, it’s obvious the two stars share an unbreakable bond. The sheer amount of miscarriages more than likely plays into that.Like many celebs, Union has been the target of pregnancy rumors.“Once a month I look like I’m in my second trimester because I’m bloated,” she told People, referring to the side-effects of her IVF injections. “It leads to the questions and it leads to the rumors and anytime I go into a doctor’s office I feel like I’m a member of SEAL Team Six undercover because I don’t want people to speculate.”Union has talked about her infertility and IVF struggles before.“So far, it has not happened for us,” she told Redbook magazine in 2015. A lot of my friends deal with this. There’s a certain amount of shame that is placed on women who have perhaps chosen a career over starting a family younger. The penance for being a career woman is barrenness. You feel like you’re wearing a scarlet letter.”So sad. I feel bad for her. Of course rumors will also now swirl, wondering if Wade impregnated the side chick because Union was unable to conceive. However, I am proud of Union that she feels that talking about her personal issues are more important, as surely millions of women are going through the same issue.  We wish light, love and lots of babies for those hopeful women.Union’s book drops October 17th.The description reads: “In this moving collection of thought-provoking essays infused with her unique wisdom and deep humor, Union uses that same fearlessness to tell astonishingly personal and true stories about power, color, gender, feminism, and fame. Union tackles a range of experiences, including bullying, beauty standards, and competition between women in Hollywood, growing up in white California suburbia and then spending summers with her black relatives in Nebraska, coping with crushes, puberty, and the divorce of her parents. Genuine and perceptive, Union bravely lays herself bare, uncovering a complex and courageous life of self-doubt and self-discovery with incredible poise and brutal honesty. Throughout, she compels us to be ethical and empathetic, and reminds us of the importance of confidence, self-awareness, and the power of sharing truth, laughter, and support.”
