AMAZING: This Woman Loses 800pounds Of Weight (Must Read)

Mayra Rosales loses 800 pounds, and she is now helping others with their own weight issues. Rosales made news in 2008 when she confessed to rolling over and killing her infant nephew. However, this woman was not guilty of the crime. Police investigated the young boy’s death, and they discovered that Rosales could not have killed the boy.
According to report, Mayra did not have the range of mobility needed to roll over onto the infant. It was discovered that the boy suffered from severe head injuries, and those caused his death. Rosales later admitted that she lied to the police to protect her sister. Jamie, her sister, was charged, and she was sentenced to 15 years in prison.
It was her nephew’s death and the trial that followed that forced Mayra to change her life. She knew if she wanted to raise her sister’s remaining children, she would need to get out of bed and lose weight.
In 2008, Mayra weighed more than 1,000 pounds. She was even called the “half-ton killer.” Today, she weighs about 20 percent of that, and she is not done losing the weight. Rosales is about 30 pounds away from her goal weight, according to Q13 Fox. That means Mayra Rosales wants to weigh a total of 170 pounds.
That is a mere fraction of her former weight.
At 1,100 pounds, it took 10 men to move the obese woman when it was time for her to receive medical treatment.
Mayra began her weight loss journey in 2011. In the first days of her weight loss program, she lost 100 pounds. That was just the beginning, though. She shared a bit about her outlook on food and life in an interview shared by Mail Online.
“I was dying. I don’t know if you had seen pictures before you could see it in my face. I had given up in life. I was alive but not living a life. Food to me is I have to eat to live. Before it was living to eat, and now you know, it’s just something normal.”
Mayra had to work hard to lose the weight. Not only did the Texas woman have to change her outlook on life, but she needed medical help. Since 2011, Rosales has undergone 11 surgeries, including a “lap band surgery and extra skin removal procedures.”
Dr. Younan Nowzaradan, a surgeon out of Houston, helped Mayra lose the weight. He told the media that he could see the woman was serious about changing her life completely.
“Once you’re in bed for several years, she had no life. Once she get up and walk and do things, you’ll be amazed how motivated people become.”
He began working with her around the clock in 2011, and he helped her become the woman she is today. However, she needed to do the work.
Mayra is willing to help others, too. She has a Facebook page with 18,000 followers, and she posts inspirational messages and images throughout the day. She has even offered to help others that want to lose weight. She has invited anyone to message her for advice.
“I have been reading and giving answer to all your inboxes. If I haven’t answered yours yet, please be patient I will get to it as fast as I can. There’s many messages and only me handle both my fan and friends FB accounts. I take your trust in me with respect that is why I personally read and give answer. It may take a little longer because it’s only me handling it but this way you have the assurance it’s ME who you are talking to. Again thanks for your messages and please be patient.”
What advice does Mayra give to those wanting to lose weight? She did share some words of encouragement in a recent interview.
“Do not lose hope and keep fighting because we only have one life, and it’s well worth fighting for it.”
Mayra has a new lease on life after losing 80 percent of her weight. She was married, but she divorced her husband in 2013. However, she is now dating someone new, and she showed him off in a photo she shared on social media.
As for her sister’s children, Mayra is now working to get custody. That was her mission when she started to lose the weight, and she is now working towards it.
Mayra’s story has touched many. Her posts on Facebook have received many comments from people praising her for losing the weight.
One commenter said, “I saw your story and am truly inspired by you i have battled with my weight my whole life and i think ‘I cant do this’ but I know that I can because you did. [sic]”
Another person shared their own story of loss by saying, “I am so proud of you, my youngest sister weighed 800 lbs she passed away at 41. She had lost down to 350 but put it back on once she became bed ridden, I wish she had your courage and strength she would still be with us!!
