The new amy winehouse film has broken records in the U.k scoring the biggest ever debut for a British documentary.
Star magazine reported that, the singer first premiere was at the Cannes Film Festival in France to rave reviews and was given a limited cinema release in the U.K. on Friday. And also her ticket sales was more than £500,000, making it the most successful opening weekend for a British documentary in the U.K. of all time.
Her documentary will now be shown in more cinemas around the U.K. and is set for nationwide release in the U.S. on Friday (10Jul15).
